Judo is a grappling art and competitive sport that was developed in Japan in the late 19th century by Jigoro Kano. A judo match culminates in an ippon, the highest score attainable. An ippon is awarded for a perfectly executed throw, 20-second pin, also known as osaekomi, or a successful application of the chokes and armlocks, also known as shime-waza and kansetsu-waza. The connectivity with our grappling lineage inspired us to design and introduce vol.1 origins drop with vol.1 ippon tee and more.
